WHY MERCHANTS SWITCH

Why merchants switch from PayWhirl

PayWhirl is affordable to start. The percentage is what grows with you: 1.5% to 2% of every order on its lower plans. Subrise takes 1% on Launch and less on higher plans, so more of each renewal stays with your brand.

What changes when you move from PayWhirl

One Shopify subscription app, one published rate, and a team that moves your subscribers for you.

Subrise vs PayWhirl: common questions

Is Subrise a good PayWhirl alternative?

If you want a lower rate on your recurring payments, yes. Subrise takes 1% of subscription orders on Launch against PayWhirl's 1.5% on Traction, and adds Shopify Flow on every plan. PayWhirl costs less per month at the base, and includes webhooks on Traction, where Subrise keeps them for Enterprise.

How do I switch from PayWhirl to Subrise?

Book a call and our team moves your subscriptions over, usually within 2 to 3 days. Each subscription keeps its products, price, frequency and next billing date, and your customers don't sign up again. You set up your plans, product widget and customer portal while we work.

Does Subrise charge a flat per-order fee?

No. Launch is $75 a month plus 1% of each subscription order. Accelerate is $199 a month plus 0.9%, and Enterprise is $399 a month plus 0.8%. No plan adds a flat fee per order, and Launch and Accelerate start with a 28-day free trial.

How switching to Subrise works

You keep selling the whole time. Our team does the moving, and your customers don't have to sign up again.

Tell us which app you use today and how many subscribers you have. We plan the switch around your next big batch of orders.
