Reports

View, export and schedule Subrise reports on new subscribers, cancellations, pauses, line items, failed billing and prepaid subscriptions.

Reports give you row-by-row data about your subscriptions. You can view a report in the admin, export it as a CSV file, or have Subrise email it to you on a schedule.

Open reports from Dashboard > Reports.

Each report card has two buttons: View and Schedule.

View a report

  1. Go to Dashboard > Reports.
  2. On the report's card, click View.
  3. To narrow the dates, click the date filter above the table and choose All time, Last day, Last week or Last month, or pick a custom range on the calendar.

Long reports are split into pages. Use the arrows under the table to move between them.

Export a report

Export saves the rows on the current page of the report as a CSV file.

  1. Open the report.
  2. Click Export in the title bar.
  3. Change the File name if you like.
  4. Click Export.

Tip

Export only includes the page you are looking at. To get every row of a long report, schedule it by email instead.

To export subscriptions with the filters you set on the Subscriptions list, use Export on that page. See Export subscriptions.

Schedule a report by email

Subrise can email any report as a CSV file every day, week or month. Each email covers the day, week or month before it was sent.

  1. Click Schedule on the report's card, or in the title bar of an open report.
  2. In Email to, enter one or more addresses, separated by commas.
  3. Enter a File name. You can't change it after you schedule the report.
  4. In Send every, choose Day, Week or Month.
  5. Click Schedule.

Weekly reports go out on Mondays and monthly reports on the first of the month.

Each report can have one schedule per frequency. A second schedule for the same report and frequency is refused with "A schedule with the same parameters already exists", even with different recipients. To send a report to several people, add all their addresses to one schedule.

Manage scheduled reports

Your schedules are listed under Scheduled reports on the Reports tab, with the file name, frequency, recipients and status. Open the actions menu on a row to:

  • Edit the recipients or frequency.
  • Deactivate a schedule to stop its emails for now, or Activate it again.
  • Delete the schedule. This can't be undone.

Report history

Dashboard > Report history lists every report you have exported or that Subrise has emailed, with its Date range, Recipients and the date it was Generated. Exports show Direct export as the recipient.

On each row you can:

  • Download the file again.
  • Open the report in the admin.
  • Email the report to its recipients again.
