Static bundles

Sell a fixed set of products together at one price, as a single Shopify bundle product.

A static bundle is a fixed set of products you pick, sold together at one price. When you save it, Subrise creates a Shopify bundle product and links its products in Shopify's inventory. Customers buy it like any other product.

Static bundles are on every Subrise plan.

Create a static bundle

  1. Go to Bundles and click Create bundle.
  2. Choose Static bundle.
  3. Under Details, enter a Bundle name, such as "Summer gift set".
  4. Check the Product URL handle. It follows the name until you change it. The bundle's product page will be at /products/ and this handle.
  5. Under Products, click Add products. Pick the products and variants, then set the Quantity of each.
  6. Under Pricing, choose a Discount: No discount, Percentage off or Fixed amount off, and enter the Percentage or Amount.
  7. Optional: check Free shipping.
  8. Click Save in the save bar.

Subrise suggests 10% off the first time you add products. Change it or choose No discount if you prefer.

The Summary card on the side shows the Compare-at price, the Bundle price and what the customer saves.

Note

Shopify can take a moment to create the bundle product. If the page says Shopify is still creating this bundle, wait, then save again.

Make it live

A new static bundle starts as a draft. Open it and click Activate at the top of the page. Subrise sets the bundle product to active in Shopify. Click Deactivate to hide it again.

In the bundle list, the Storefront column shows Unpublished, or a View page link once the product is live.

To show what's included on the bundle's product page, add the Product Bundle block to your product template. See Show bundles on your storefront.

Edit a static bundle

Open the bundle from Bundles, change it, and click Save. Subrise updates the bundle product in Shopify.

On a saved bundle you can also:

  • Offer it as a subscription. See Bundle subscriptions.
  • Click View on Shopify to open the bundle product in your Shopify admin.
  • Click Version history to see the bundle's past versions.
  • Click View orders for the orders that include it.

Change a static bundle's products and price in Subrise, not on the product in Shopify. Saving the bundle updates the product.

Bundles and plans

A bundle product can't go on a regular subscription plan. To sell a static bundle on subscription, turn on subscriptions on the bundle itself. See Bundle subscriptions.
