Choose a Subrise plan

Subrise's plans and prices, how the free trial works, and how to change or cancel your plan.

Subrise has three plans. Each has a monthly price plus a percentage of each subscription order. Shopify bills you for both, on your Shopify invoice.

Plans and prices

PlanMonthly priceFee on each subscription orderFree trial
Launch$751%28 days
Accelerate$1990.9%28 days
Enterprise$3990.8%None

The fee is a percentage of each subscription order Subrise charges. There's no flat per-order fee on top.

Each card on the Pricing plans page lists what that plan includes. A higher plan lists what it adds to the plan below it, after a line such as "Everything in the Launch Plan".

How the free trial works

Your 28-day trial starts when you install Subrise. You don't pick a plan to start it, and the Pricing plans page marks Accelerate as your Current trial plan.

  • Choose Launch during the trial, and you keep the days you have left. Shopify starts billing when they run out. To move to Accelerate, click Free trial upgrade on its card, and the remaining days carry over.
  • Choose Enterprise, and the trial ends. Shopify starts billing right away.
  • Choose nothing, and when the trial ends Subrise opens Pricing plans with "Your free trial has ended. Choose a plan to keep using Subrise." You can't use the rest of the admin until you choose one.

Until you choose a plan, a banner shows how many days are left in your free trial. Until the last 7 days it shows only on the Dashboard, and you can dismiss it. In the last 7 days it shows on every page except Pricing plans, and you can't dismiss it.

Choose or change your plan

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Under Plan, click View plans (or Choose plan if you don't have one yet).
  3. On the plan you want, click Select plan, Free trial upgrade, Upgrade plan or Switch plan.
  4. Shopify opens its approval page. Review the charges and approve them.

You return to Subrise on your new plan.

Moving to a lower plan asks you to confirm first, with Switch plan?. Features that aren't in the new plan stop working when you switch.

Warning

Webhooks are on Enterprise only. Moving from Enterprise to Launch or Accelerate deletes the webhooks you set up under Settings > Webhooks, and they don't come back if you return to Enterprise. See Webhooks.

Features that depend on your plan

Subrise checks your plan before these features work. If your plan doesn't include one, you see an Upgrade button or badge where it would be.

  • Creating subscriptions for customers from the admin
  • Full HTML editing of email templates
  • Sending customer emails from your own domain, on Accelerate and Enterprise
  • The Attentive integration, on Accelerate and Enterprise
  • Webhooks
  • Dynamic bundles and Bundle subscriptions. Static bundles are on every plan. See Bundles.
  • Add-on inventory holds

Everything else in Subrise works on every plan, including unlimited subscriptions and plans, the product widget, the customer portal and customer emails. Multi-order gifts, and the 3-month gift and 12-month gift plan templates that use them, aren't available on any plan yet.

You get your plan's features once you've paid, or while your free trial runs.

Cancel your plan

  1. Go to Settings > Account and click View plans.
  2. Click Cancel plan at the top of the page, then confirm.

You can cancel once you've chosen a plan. This cancels your Subrise subscription in Shopify. Any free trial days you had left are kept for when you choose a plan again.

Cancelling your plan doesn't remove Subrise from your store. To stop using Subrise completely, uninstall it. See What happens if I uninstall Subrise? first.
