Edit a plan
Change a plan's options, frequencies and discounts, reorder its options, or delete the plan.
You edit a plan in the same editor you created it in. Changes to the plan's name and options save together, when you click Save.
Open a plan
Go to Plans and click the plan's name. The list shows each plan's frequency, discount, and how many products and subscriptions it has. You can also open a plan from the Products page.
Change options
- In the Options card, click the option you want to change.
- Edit its fields. Options you've changed show an Unsaved badge.
- Click Save in the save bar.
To delete an option, click the three-dot button next to it and choose Delete. A plan always keeps at least one option, so you can't delete the last one. The option is removed when you save, and Discard brings it back.
Note
Changes to an option apply to new subscriptions. To change what an existing subscriber pays or how often, edit their subscription. See Managing subscriptions.
Turn off the upcoming order notification is the exception. It applies straight away to every subscription on the option, including existing ones.
Reorder options
Customers see options in the order the Options card lists them. Drag an option by its handle to move it. The new order saves right away.
You can only reorder when there are no unsaved changes. Save or discard first.
Delete a plan
- Remove all of the plan's products and collections in its Products section.
- Click Delete plan at the top of the page.
- Confirm with Delete plan.
This deletes the plan and all its options from your store, and it can't be undone. If the plan still has products, Subrise asks you to remove them first.
Plans created by bundles
When a bundle offers subscriptions with its own plan, Subrise creates a plan named "Subrise Bundle: " followed by the bundle's name. That plan doesn't appear under Plans. You change it from the bundle. See Bundle subscriptions.
