Zapier

Send Subrise subscription events to a Zapier webhook to start Zaps in thousands of other apps.

Subrise posts every subscription event to a Zapier webhook. Your Zap then sends the data wherever you want, such as a spreadsheet, a CRM or a Slack channel.

Create the Zap

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap.
  2. For the trigger, choose Webhooks by Zapier, then the Catch Hook event.
  3. Copy the webhook URL Zapier gives you. It starts with https://hooks.zapier.com/.

Keep the Zap open: you test it in a later step.

Connect Zapier

  1. In Subrise, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. On the Zapier card, click Connect.
  3. Paste the URL into Webhook URL.
  4. Click Connect. The card shows Connected.

Subrise only sends to zapier.com addresses over HTTPS. To send events to your own server instead, use webhooks.

Test and finish the Zap

  1. Create a test subscription on your store, or pause and resume an existing one.
  2. In Zapier, click Test trigger. You see the event Subrise sent.
  3. Add the actions you want and publish the Zap.

Tell events apart

Subrise sends every event to the same URL. Each one has a metric field naming the event, such as subrise_new_subscription or subrise_failed_transaction.

Add a Filter by Zapier step on metric so each Zap only runs for the events it cares about. Or use Paths by Zapier to handle several events in one Zap.
